it arrived on Friday

but I didn't open it until now! Yes I have received my parcel!!! Yipeee!!! And yes I am very patient person to allow the parcel to sit here for two days untouched.

So I opened it and out popped a wonderful looking pattern for socks. Dear me, I have to seriously start making socks. I've only done one pair before, now I have such a beautiful pattern to go with my other patterns from last swap that I think I'm being told something!

So inside my box was lots of black and yellow parcels, with surprises inside each and every one of them.

So I tore open them all, cause well after being good and not opening the parcel I had free range to search and destroy all forms of coverings!

Inside I found a big chocolate bar (no one can resist chocolate!), two beautiful skeins of yarn, one hufflepuff colour and one amazing blue colour (which goes with lots of things I have!), some stitch markers that look very ethnic! a clover knitting counter (I adores this!), brittany knitting needles which are fabulous and I can't wait to use them! Addi lace needles!!! OMG everyone seriously covets these now I can try to find out why that is so. They look awesome and obviously someone was stalking me! Thank yooooouuuuuu!! And best of all two handmade cloths with elephants on them, again stalking must have been done! Plus the most crazy looking pig soap, crazy in the sense that the pig is smiling his head off before he starts to get smaller after using him. I'm thinking he needs to see someone about this fact! And to top it all off a packet of soothers because well I'm always in need of those babies between my asthma, and the weather there is always some difficult breathing to do! Oh I almost forgot, a handmade journal!! Have to have somewhere to keep my crazy knitting thoughts in!

So I love my parcel and thank you my dear dear swapper Anna Meriweather!!

House Quiz

1. If this was your first HSKS, have you enjoyed yourself. If you are alumni, was this term better than other terms (if so how)? I think this was about the same, my time in hogwarts this year is a less than last term. My excuse for that is that I'm working, uni, training, and choir. I'm pretty much never in my dormitory

2. Will you be returning for HSKS7? More than likely

3. What is your favorite part of HSKS? Putting the parcel together

4. If you had the chance to switch houses next term would you? What house would you be in? Probably only for the fact that I have already two terms of Hufflepuff stuff! Having a variety would be interesting. I was actually supposed to go into Ravenclaw to begin with, so that is where I would go

5. Are there any problems that you need to talk to the Head Girl or Prefects about? Nope, or at least I don't think so

6. Has your Spoiler been in contact with you about your package? I haven't checked my blog, or email today so I don't know

7. Have you been in contact with your Spoilee to let them know you are still with us? ;) Yup!

parcel is on its way

Yes the parcel is gone finally after losing the address! Phew! It would have went out yesterday but somehow the address just walked away on its own accord.

So hopefully it should arrive safely and in a timely fashion!

Now I just have to wait axiously

Wednesday, 5 November 2008

Goodness, it's almost time to send out my parcel. I pretty much have everything I would like, but I want to add a few more things before it goes out in the post tomorrow.

So after potions lesson, I will be returning my books to the library before I have to pay 15 sickles because they are late. I then will be heading down to purchase my last tid bits to go into the kit for Enna Kirts.

So it will be going out tomorrow via the late owl post!

I had a wonderful time doing this up, I just hope everything works out the way I would like!

getting down there

yes the time to send off my parcel to Enna Kirts is getting down there. I pretty much have everything I need. I just need to add a few extras I think, plus I haven't chosen a pattern just yet either. I'm still deciding on that one. I'll be able to get this off by wednesday/thursday by the latest once I finish off all the little bits!

So it's almost on it's way!

House quiz part 2

Professor Snape was having a terrible morning, and it wasn't even breakfast yet. Someone broke into the Runes classroom the night before, hid a Boggart in the closet, and set loose 67 doxies. How did he know there were 73 doxies? Because each one took a bite out of his eyelid as he tried to capture it, and Madame Pomfrey had to danced each wound separately. And comment annoyingly about how Professor Moody would've had the room cleared out with 2 waves of a wand.

It took forever to get out of the infirmary, and by then Professor Snape was in a foul mood. Luckily, he knew how to improve it: by finding the culprits and making him, her or them pay. Snape had overheard some students giggling in the hallways the other day about Lily May's stash of doxy eggs, so he had a good idea of who to interrogate first. Unfortunately for him, but rather fortunately for Lily May, the common room password had recently been changed to Edinburgh Electrics, so Snape couldn't enter. Helga Hufflepuff looked up from her portrait and laughed at the cursing, frustrated Professor.

The old Professor Snape would have thrown a hissy fit at being taunted by a mere portrait, and blasted the thing all the way into the 4th floor girl's bathroom. The new Professor Snape went to -16 weeks of Anger Management classes, punched a lot of pillows, and took up knit. And started subscribing to the Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes catalogue.

Professor Snape's first class off the day was runes with the 3rd year Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaw. It took them 2 hours to clean up after the entire carton of Moody that went off and clung to their robes, schoolbooks, and any exposed flesh. The students all knew that Lily May was planning to do something in runes to get Professor Snape, so everyone blamed (him/her) for the prank and gave (him/her) the cold shoulder for 17 days, until Enna Kirts blew up the transfiguration classroom with a misplaced charm and became the new pariah-of-the-hour.

Missed the quidditch

because I had archery training. I'll be posting my fantastic bruise which now means I'm totally initiated. Plus the president insisted on spilling his pint and trying to get me with it. You'd think for an archer he would have good aim and got me, no such luck for him. He managed to get everything else though. So well done to him.

I'll put the picture up as soon as I'm done with my handmade item for Enna. It's almost done. I just have to finish about 10 rows and that's it! It should be finished tonight!
I'll be within the deadline as well, which is even better considering I wasn't sure if I would be able to get it finished on time for the early handmade item date.

Well done me!

I did it!

I managed to get out of one of my classes at school. How cool is that! Just goes to show that if you ask you can be let out, especially if you have done the class before and have gotten a good mark.

So that leaves all the more time for me to be able to study my other courses. Which is not the best, but hey I can certainly use that time.

I am now able to also use that time to start making my homemade item for Enna, which I have everything already for. I just needed the time to actually do it. So things are going well on that front!

Thank you to my professors for letting me out of that class!

Day out at Hogsmead

I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to go. For some odd reason, my father totally forgot to sign my permission slip. I was going to be totally gutted being the only one left behind, I hate being left behind.

I was fortunate enough to get my step-mother to get a hold of him, who knows where he is with his job! Anyways he was able to actually come to school and tell the Headmistress that I was able to go. Close call I tell you! Mind, my father kept looking at me strangely for some odd reason, but I only figured out why later.

So off I go, of course Ollie tagged along. He's well interested in traveling especially to magical places. So we wandered, well actually I wandered he was in coat pocket peeking out of the button hole, down the main street.

He wanted to go to the shrieking shack, I told him there was no point as it was abandoned and it wasn't scary at all ever since the older students figured it out. He was all geared up for some scary stuff. Stupid spider!

So we continued along our way when an older guy, well he's about 22, came up to me and asked me if I wanted to join him and his friends at The three broomsticks for some butterbeer. Now I'm totally wondering what is going on, some joke or something. But he was totally serious about me going, so what could I do? So I went. In we all pile and order pints of butterbeer, and have a few games of wizard chess, and something called dominoes. Apparently it's a muggle game, I'm going to have to ask one of the other students about it. A pretty fun game, little tiles with dots on them and you line them up with the same dots facing each other. I beat everyone at that game.

Eventually I had to nip to the toilet and discovered why my father was looking at me strangely, and why the older guys invited me out. Remember that shrinking potion I took during the summer? Well I made myself a growing potion to get me back to myself, but I think I over did it a bit. I have aged myself a little bit while growing too, which is good to know for future things. So I was taller and older looking which was why I had no trouble getting into the three broomsticks. Hmm will wonders never cease!

The boys decided that we should go to Honeydukes for some sweets. So many things in there! They had some samples which the boys were more than happy to help devour. After buying some things for later, the boys decided that we needed to go to the hogshead. I'm coming to the conclusion that we are doing a pub crawl, but there are only two, so we might be going back and forth between them.

Hogshead was a little more strange than the three broomsticks, but hey we had some more beer, and games there as well. I read their fortunes in the bowl of nuts and pretzel sticks that seemed to have come from no where. After the group of sheep arrived we decided it was getting a little crowded for us, so back we went back to the three broomsticks.

It was getting late, and the school was leaving, I had to make up the excuse that I was a trainee teacher and had to see my students back to Hogwarts. I'm glad they bought that excuse!

I really liked The three broomsticks best of all, as well as the company. Too bad I'm a little too young for any of the guys in real life. Then again, when did that stop me?

quiz answers

The Quiz...
1 Which is your favorite book in the series (and why)? Probably the first one, as that is the one that starts it all off!

2 If you were taking Owls, which class would you get an E in? Would you get any Ts? An E? hmmm transfiguration or potions. T? easy, runes!

3 Who is your favorite character (or characters) in the Harry Potter series? Has to be the Weasley twins for the fact their personality attracts me, and secondly I have a thing for ginger hair boys.

4 If you had to pick 1 character for a roomate, who would you pick and why? Who'd be your least-favorite to have as a roomate? I'd like to pick Ginny, she is a strong character which everyone passes over for a long time. She really comes into her own. the character I'd least like to share with would be Malfoy, just one bad dude.

5 Hufflepuffs are a hardworking bunch, but also a bit mischevious. Which Hogwarts professor would you most like to prank, and how would you do it? I never thought of it as I'm sure I'd get caught. But I'd definitely use the time turner that Hermione had that lets her take a billion courses.

6 Favorite DADA professor? (from the books, Lucius does NOT count :) Fav??? hard to say, they all had qualities that I liked for various reasons. Each with his own unique thing for the job.

7 Favorite magical creatures? (Also, if for example you like a certain creature in general, but not how they are represented in the HP canon, feel free to elaborate :) I don't think I have a favourite creature, but if I had to choose one it would be my own spider. He'd never forgive me if I didn't like him best!

8 What is your favorite food in the HP universe? Which food or foods would you like to try in real life? Do you have any recipes to share with us ;)? WOuld have to be chocolate frogs. Like to try in real life would be the every flavour beans

9 Broom, floo powder, portkey, or magic carpet? Floo powder, as I love getting dirty

10 Since we're Hufflepuffs... Yellow or Black? Black, very slimming

I'm well impressed with the speed of the snitch hunters as every time I play I miss it for some stupid reason!

This has been a lovely swap and such a lovely group to be in, I'm well proud to be a badger!

So Thank you to everyone, and especially Lavender who helped me out loads when I was in China as well as when I returned back to the UK!

It arrived, and a surprise!

Well finally Olie made it to Miranda's house. There was a slight problem of no one being home to receive the parcel so he kept coming back with it until someone was home.
In the end he did make it, and it appears that everything arrived safely. I guess he made a good decision about not leaving it somewhere, so I won't punish him for seeming what looked like ages delivering it!

I hope Miranda likes it, or at least something in there is useful!

I also received a surprise the other day, another owl from Emma Wigworthy! I received a lovely lovely sock book because I'm new to socks (haven't made one yet!) so this book will be getting lots of wear and tear for the foreseeable near future.

I have been reading the book from beginning to end to soak up all the information, and useful tips that I'll be needing. Once I finish one of a pair of fingerless gloves, next stop is socks!

I'm never listening again to how strong or fast he is. Totally unwarented at this moment in time. I'm hoping it will turn up soon! When he gets back he'll not be allowed any fruit for a month as a punishment!

It's here, it's here!

Yes that is my parcel from Emma Wigworthy! Totally out did herself with this parcel. I'm so chuffed with everything.

Here is a list of all my goodies. Soon there will be pictures to go along with it.

In my lovely parcel is: stitch markers in lovely Hufflepuff colours, a needle gauge with elephants all over it (I love elephants!) made especially for me, beautiful wooden needles with a needle holder, a darning needle holder with darning needles. I also have muggle sweets which I can't wait to try out. And Emma made some homemade pumpkin pickle, can't wait to try that out.

I also have a Hogwarts journal and pencil case, with some funky glitter gel pens. I have some lovely lovely squishy Hufflepuff yarn which was hand dyed for me. I can't wait to try that out. I have a beautiful snitch measuring tape, and a little tin with hair in it! I also have a range of sock patterns designed by Emma herself. Goodness, I'll have to learn how to knit socks now! The patterns are beautiful, and so complicated looking. Dear me, I think I might have to find someone to help me with learning the techniques to do socks.

I have the prettiest hat in all my favourite colours, with elephants all around it! And surprise, it fits! It actually looks good on my head, well done!

It was such a lovely parcel and everything was wrapped in paper that had my name all over it, tied up with nice blue ribbon (I love blue, I love ribbons!)

I want to say a big thank you to Emma for such a lovely parcel! Totally love it!

Looking for a box

You'd think looking for a box would be relatively easy, but I'm having trouble finding one to put Miranda Moonstone's parcel in. I might have to give up and go to the Muggle Post office where Muggles post their letters and parcels. Apparently they are not delivered by owls at all (how odd), but rather by post men and women who go door to door with thep parcels/letters. Imagine all that work they they do everyday!

I like going into Muggle places cause it is all very exciting. I hope I don't stand out too much I can never figure out the money. I might spend some time there just getting to see what goes on, as this is pretty facinating. Miranda is a Muggle, I wonder if I should ask her some questions. I'm always very shy around Muggles, they seem to know so much more than I do about "things."

Anyways after I get the box which I've been told they have there, I will pack up the parcel, but first I need to do some wrapping etc, as it makes it more exciting to unwrap a few things.

I just hope Miranda likes her parcel, there is some pretty funny stories to go along with some things, which I will write down for her. She will no doubt shake her head and roll her eyes at my sheer blondeness. Sometimes I just don't have the patience for rules, regulations, or any other step by step instructions (which will be apparent let me tell you!)

There will be two parcels instead of one because well that is what has happened. One is coming from me, one is coming from My great-uncle Jim because well, he knows about certain Muggle things which has come in handy for this swap. I'm just hoping his owl makes it sometime this week because the poor thing is quite old. I'm thinking he'll be taking lots of rest breaks along the route.

If you see an old owl Miranda with a beard, that would be him. I have no idea why he has a beard, but I have my suspicions it is actually my other great-uncle Frank. Must do some digging on that subject.

Olie (my spider's nickname!) has told me we have to get a map to get to the post office cause he doesn't know about these things either. Then I have to go to the hospital to visit my friend whose guts exploded out of his body after doing a spell. He's okay now, but he is missing some bits apparently. I should ask him what spell he was doing so I can avoid that one myself.

Olie is being very bossy, I'm wondering who forgot to wrap up their fruit in the dormitory!

Saturday, 28 June 2008

I have had two good things happen today! One being I've been told I can get out of here tomorrow!! Yipee, so I'll finally be able to meet everyone rather than having to transfigure things to make life in here more interesting. And two, I received some mail!

My first ever Hogwarts mail how exciting. They allowed me to have it since it was in a white envelope if it was in a brown one I might not have been able to have it. So I'm not expecting anything as Emma Wigworthy swore she would send one large parcel to me since I don't like being teased with multiple parcels.

So I open it and out pops a lovely Hufflepuff velvet bag! Black on the outside, yellow on the inside, and it likes to transfigure itself somewhat so it also goes yellow on the outside, black on the inside. It's really lovely and I can't figure out why I have this, but out pops out a note saying it's from ROAK! How exciting! The lovely item was from Lizzie Wychwood, she is a very good sewer something I can't do well at all!

So to pass on the good magic, I too have put together a small parcel and it will go out tomorrow, by owl this time not by spider!

See my parcel to Miranda Moonstone is all finished except putting it together and sending it off by owl. Now my spider is insistant that he will take it and personally deliver it to Miranda. He says he's faster and stronger than any owl. So I will let him take the parcel to Miranda, hopefully she isn't scared of spiders. Not that he's big, he's only the size of my thumb nail.

He is under strict instructions that if he delivers the parcel on time, he can have a decent piece of fruit when he returns.

Monday, 23 June 2008

hmmm, well I managed to get out of the white room on the surface, but I'm technically still locked up. Some transfiguring spells do come in handy at times like these.

The game of Quiddich yesterday was a right good lesson in thinking. Here everyone was huddled around talking about when it would be released. Everyone was waiting around for clues etc, but one smart Hufflepuff (Go Selena!!) decided to take a wee wander around, and found it!

Now there have been some people complaining about the way in which it was done, so because of their grumbling a rematch is taking place. I don't agree with this at all for the simple fact that we all had an equal chance of finding the snitch, but only one happened to stumble upon it because she thought outside the box, unlike the rest of us.

So, like myself (who is kicking herself for not thinking) or thinking outside the ever so handy box, people have complained rather than taking it as a lesson learned. This rematch has totally put a black cloud on the fair victory gained by Selena and Hufflepuff (which I can proudly say I'm part of!).

Yes, I too was a bit miffed because I thought we were waiting for clues (this was my first quiddich match since leaving China), and I didn't get a chance to go search for the snitch, but in fact I did have the chance. I just didn't realise it cause I wasn't thinking! So I'm more mad at myself than the way the game was done, and others have complained because they are miffed, but rather than looking at the fact that everyone had the same fair chance they are crying foul.

Okay, so everyone was stupid save Selena, myself included! Rather than crying foul and demanding a rematch, we should just realise we were stupid, and we all learned a lesson. That is not to be the case, and a rematch is scheduled for Wednesday.

So a fairly won game is causing contraversy! Totally not very sportsman like, and very poor participation by some people.

Boriiiiingggg, boring, boing, boring.

Do you have any idea how boring it is to be in quaranteen?  I'm surrounded by white walls, white floors, white ceilings, you get the picture.

I think my spider made it to school, he was smart and dodged the security personel. Can someone check for me? Leave out some fruit, just a piece unless you want to deal with fruit withdrawl and a demanding spider.

I think my stay here might be getting longer, possibly until July th 10th!!!!!! I'm argueing that fact as we speak. Some people just try to make my life difficult. I'm beginning to wonder if it was the Chinese school I just left!

Ahhhhh......I'm going to die of boredom

Thursday, 12 June 2008

ahhhh, stupid China. I'm now in quaranteen for 2 weeks because of coming in from that country. What a pain in the *&^ I'm never going to meet any of you guys at this rate. I'll still only be able to post here, but nothing else.

But on a good note, here is a potion for getting rid of snakes

1.5 L vodka

1-2 snakes depending on size of snakes

simply put out the .5 L of vodka and the snakes will drink it, and keel over dead. Something about the combination of the alcohol and snake DNA. Once the snake is dead, just put it into the 1L of remanning vodka. Let it sit for a month, and drink the vodka as normal, or use it in spells that call for any snake like behaviour.

As I said, simple!

Not to worry girls, my spider as as big as he gets. He's only interested in eating his type of bugs, and fruit for some odd reason. He's pretty harmless....

Now here in China we have a different magical creatures book, so I'm actually unfamiliar with some of the creatures in the British book. Mind some of them I do know, but I figured since I'm in China I might as well talk about Chinese magical creatures cause they have some pretty decent ones too. Might as well expand our knowledge about them.

Now my spider he's a magical creature known as a banwen zhizhu (striped spider, how original right!?). He gets as big as your thumb nail, doesn't really spin a web as he's a jumper so that's how he catches his prey, he likes fruit so when we're in the dorm make sure you keep your fruit safely wrapped. He'll eat it all, total glutton! If he eats it all, he'll just want more and more and more. Trust me, don't give him fruit, it makes him into a right demanding nutter. A little is fine, but nothing whole! If he does eat lots, we'll just have to treat him like an addict, and go through withdrawl which is how I know he's a demanding little bugger!

He comes from Fujin province in the East of China where lots of tea comes from. He likes tea too, not as a drink, but just to eat. Well I don't know if he likes it as a drink I haven't given it to him that way, I'll have to try that tonight to see what happens.

Now banwen zhizhu are known to be congming (clever), and guidianzi (tricks) which is why I think he likes to jump out at you when you're busy. Totally annoying, and always startles me. I'm sure he can do other tricks if you ignore him for too long, I just haven't found out as of yet. As he is clever, I'm sure we could train him to do something not sure what though, but it is a possibility.

Now I wanted one of these guys for a long time since coming here, but I was a little unsure of how I could domesticate him. Apparently I didn't need to worry too much as he's pretty domesticated already, just watch out for fruit addiction. I'm sure things will pop up where he's concerned, but I think I can manage to cope with finding the solution if a problem arises. So I'm glad I bought him the other week, so far so good! I just have to make sure he stays away from Ghouls as Ghouls eat spiders. I don't think he'd be happy about that.

Now apparently people have been having trouble with their patronus. I haven't had a problem as my loony cousin showed me how to conjure one years ago. I used to have terrible problems with Quintapeds when I was younger as we lived in the Isle of Drear at one point. Why my father was positioned there with his job I'll never know for the simple reason I don't know what he actually does. I gave up asking him cause I was tired of getting business cards that said "Mr. Acadimus Clearwater____________and ___________MMC, Phd of __________."  Apparently me not knowing until I'm older is keeping me safe, safe from what I'm not sure, but that is okay with me. I'm sure someone out there knows what it means, but I did discover that he works for the Ministry of Magic as one day he was talking about Fudge to my step-mother, and I thought he was talking about the sweet, but it never arrived home much to my disappointment when I was about 7.

So my patronus is a pheonix which everyone here in China thinks is amazing as very few people in China can conjure a patronus to begin with let alone a pheonix. Wang Jin is totally jealous! So I hope the professor is satisfied with my patronus, when I get back if he needs a demonstration I can certainly provide one for him.

Just to let you all know I'm out of this school in 2 sleeps, and out of the country in 3. So next time you see me I'll be there on Monday morning for classes! I can't wait to meet everyone.

On a total different note my friend Emma made me something, and it's a secret. Dare I say it's driving me crazy?! I love and hate surprises!

Phew, I'm 3/4 of the way through my exams. Talk about being tried! Dare I say I have achieved all A+? Slowing down time was the best idea I've had yet. Seriously, these people have no idea who they are dealing with.

I've been thinking about this pet situation a lot lately. I want something that can look after itself cause I have a tendency to forget about things after awhile, so I might forget to feed it or something. I always think there is something better coming around the corner so my mind wanders.

So I was on Yaogui Lu and came across Ms. Liu's Dongxi Gelou which is a pet store I guess.  Strange place it was too!  Anyways I decided after about 14 hrs (there was a lot of stuff to look at!) to get a spider. Now I know it isn't on the pet list, but he isn't big at all. No bigger than my thumb nail. He feeds himself, and is quite fun! Now he's not the type to spin webs, he's more of jumper. It's actually quite interesting, he does spin a little web, to catch those things that might go by, but he spends his days just simply walking about, and jumping at things. He's black with some white markings, sort of looks like a zebra.

I've decided to call him Tantiaoli because it means spring, as in to jump. He's a good pet, he comes when I call him, and as far as I can figure out he hasn't gotten into any trouble. I'm wondering if I could train him to attack Wang Jin who hates spiders. That's my next plan after all these exams.

Only 14 more days until I'm home. Can you believe that?? I'm soooo happy as my time in this crazy school is coming to an end, and I'll be able to meet everyone finally.

Since it is almost the end of the school year we are of course doing our exams. I think the Dean of my department has it out for me. Maybe it's because I'm a foreigner, maybe it's because I'm smart...too smart for them!  So I have to do 90 written exams, annnnndddddd 90 oral exams! I think they are testing me or trying to break me. I'm not worried because I have come up with a very smart plan involving time.

So we're not allowed to stop time as that is against the rules, and we'd be found out. But if I slowed time down, I would be under the radar so that is what I have been doing. So for each minute I slow down, I gain 2 hours of time. So in 5 minutes real time, I am able to study for 10 hours. So I'm able to study for all the exams with no trouble at all. I'm brilliant!

I need to bring you up to date with the situation about the singing for the Olympics. Everyone was singing away and at the most crucial moment of the song, everyone loses their voice, and starts croaking like frogs. It was hilarious especially since Wang Jin was not paying any attention and kept on singing. So of course the teacher thought she had wanted to out shine everyone by making sure we all sounded terrible. It lasted a little bit longer than I was expecting, but hey it was worth it.

I've bought everything that I need for Hogwarts except a pet. I'm still debating what I want. I don't want a cat as I'm allergic, and I'm not interested in an owl.Frogs well, interesting, but I just spent 43 hours like one, so I'm a little tired of the croaking. I need to think about this all as I know some other students have other types of animals.

So that has been life here at the moment. See everyone real soon!

I really hate being away from everyone normal! The new term is starting there at Hogwarts and here I still am stuck in old China in this crummy excuse for a school. It's not fun I tell you, none at all.

I'm tired of listening to lectures about the Olympics and what we need to do to prepare. I'm tired of listening to the teachers spout on about how their relative x generations ago took part in some dumb broomstick race. To make things worse the stupid Olympic torch is coming down the street in front of the school. Everyone is so excited, except for me. I'm starting to wonder if there is something in the water, the dumplings, or the rice. Seriously people, it's only a stick with fire.

I keep counting down the days that I'll be able to leave, and take place in the Hufflepuff dormitory. I'm a little afraid, I don't know anyone, everyone will all be in their little groups with in jokes and gossip. I'll be the new witch on the pitch again............

On a good note, I'll be away from everyone calling me Li Ma! There was some stupid mix up with registration and my first two letters of both my names were put down rather than either name. So Lily May, turned into Li Ma. See in China,  Li is a family name and pronounce Lee and Ma could stand for horse, mother, or scold, and one other that I always forget.

Not too bad, teachers call me Li Ma Chinese pronunciation, the students on the other hand call me lima, as in lima bean. It was stupid Wang Jin that started it. I got her back by putting mozhang hanye into her tea, I had to sign a statement not to tell what happened during the following 88 hours. It was funny, at least for me even with the punishment of having to count by hand each kernel of rice in a 10 kg bag. I'd do it again if I was allowed into Mr. Zhao's Wushu Citan Dixiashi, but I'm banned as well as the next 250 generations of my family. There are ways in, such as through Mr. Zhao's son if I do need anything.......

Must dash as my class has to sing a song about the Olympics in front of the school today. Too bad everyone is going to be signing like frogs........minus Wang Jin of course. Who would suspect me if I am inflicted as well?

How exciting

I can't wait to go to school, how crazy is that?? I'm in Hufflepuff this term, and I can't wait to meet some friends.

I was just playing around with my new wand, and was thinking about the meaning of my name. It came up with this, dare I tell you how scarily true it is???

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily. Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is. {Everyone thinks I'm taking Ms. Sooty's Happiness Helices, which I'm not!}

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are a free spirit, and you resent anyone who tries to fence you in. You are unpredictable, adventurous, and always a little surprising. You may miss out by not settling down, but you're too busy having fun to care.

You are confident, self assured, and capable. You are not easily intimidated. You master any and all skills easily. You don't have to work hard for what you want. You make your life out to be exactly how you want it. And you'll knock down anyone who gets in your way! You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection. You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive. {Don't ask about the time I won the junior witch transfiguration contest, I still don't think Agatey Mirrorfold forgives me}

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind. A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together. {Flakeness runs in my family, trust me! I'm also blonde, that doesn't help either}

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You are very charming... dangerously so. You have the potential to break a lot of hearts. You know how what you want, how to get it, and that you will get it. You have the power to rule the world. Let's hope you're a benevolent dictator! { Remind me to tell you the time about the Riverturn village incident}

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life. You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home.You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble. {I don't know how many times I've been told to stop being impulsive, I can't help it}

Anyways that is me, can't wait to meet everyone. See everyone very soon!!
